Kirmani hospitalised following chest pain
Former India wicketkeeper Syed Kirmani was on Wednesday admitted to the hospital in Bangalore after a mild heart attack.

The member of the 1983 World Cup-winning team was brought to the Wockhardt Hospital.
"Kirmani complained of chest pain and was brought for check-up and has been kept under observation, nothing to worry," said Dr. Ranganath Nayak, chief cardiologist of the hospital.
Kirmani was appointed as State Selection Committee Chairman by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) at a Managing Committee meeting held last week.
