We had to wait 5 hours for the match to start due to the rain and wet outfield, but we did finally get another glimpse of India's future stars. A complete performance from India today, impressing with the ball, in the field, and with bat in hand. 

Gear up folks, it will be India vs Pakistan in the final! Pakistan have just beaten Bangladesh in the second semi-final, setting up a mouth-watering clash between the arch-rivals in the final on Sunday, December 21. 

Two excellent half-centuries by Vihaan Malhotra (61* off 45) and Aaron George (58* off 49). The duo had to rescue India from 25/2, and took India to victory with two overs to spare. 

FOUR to finish it off! Aaron George slams it over covers for 4, and India win by 8 wickets and with 2 overs to spare. A terrific 114-run partnership by George and Malhotra, that takes India to a convincing victory in a rain-affected 20-overs-a-side clash.

Half-century for Aaron George now! Third fifty in as many games in the ongoing U19 Asia Cup. Patient knock today, but a crucial one. Rebuilt the Indian innings smoothly alongside Vihaan Malhotra, and has taken his team to the brink of victory.

GONE! Ayush Mhatre! Huge wicket for Sri Lanka. Mhatre looks for a big shot but mistimes it horribly. It flies straight to Ninduwara at mid-on. India lose their first wicket, and it's their captain.

What a start! 4 dots in a row, but then Ayush Mhatre slams it straight over the bowler's head for a flat 6. Terrific shot. The India U19 captain is up and running in the semi-final.

14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi is out to bat alongside captain Ayush Mhatre. India's target: 139. If these two can give the fiery start they usually do, India will be favourites to win this clash.

An excellent bowling effort by India. Kishan Kumar Singh and Deepesh Devendran started things off well, Kanishk Chouhan scalped two wickets in the middle overs, and Henil Patel ended things brightly. Wickets at regular intervals meant that Sri Lanka were never able to go at much more than 6 runs per over.

Wicket to finish! Henil Patel takes a good aerial catch, off his own bowling. The umpires check for no-ball again, and it's very tight, but Henil seems to have a little bit of his boot behind the line. Sri Lanka U19 end on 138.

Bangladesh and Pakistan's semi-final match has begun. It will be a 27-over contest and Bangladesh have been put to bat first. However, there's no confirmation regarding India vs Sri Lanka match. 

Visuals showed that the Indian team arrived at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, and were participating in some pre-match warmups and drills. Remember, if a game does not take place, India will be the team to qualify for the final.

Much like the India-Sri Lanka game, the second semi-final between Pakistan and Bangladesh has also been delayed due to the conditions. However, toss for the second semi will take place at 2:10 PM, with a match potentially getting underway at 2:30 PM.

Let's hope it is a sign of a match being possible between India and Sri Lanka too.

The rain has stopped. Some covers have been taken off, while the pitch is being made ready for play. However, the big worry is the drainage on the outskirts of the ground surface. The periphery of the ground is still largely damp, making it potentially dangerous for fielders.

The next inspection will take place at 12:15 PM local time (1:45 PM IST). That is in just over half an hour from now. Let's hope there will be some good news.

A different element has been brought in to cover the rain-affected pitches at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai - mats. Let's see if this is able to protect the pitches enough to help us get a start quicker.

The umpires can be seen having an intense chat with the pitch curator. However, the overall news is much the same - the toss has been delayed due to a wet outfield at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai.

The umpire inspection scheduled for 11 AM local time (12:30 PM IST) has been delayed. The reason for this is that there has been a slight drizzle at the venue. While the rain has stopped, clouds are still hovering around the area.

Another umpire inspection is expected to take place any time now. Stay tuned to NDTV Sports, as we look to bring you the live updates from the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai.

The final cut-off time for a 20-over match is 2:02 PM local time (3:32 PM IST). That is still more than three hours away. Let's hope the conditions improve by then. 

Some concerning news. The covers did come off initially, but now they have been brought back on. The conditions are still not good enough to conduct the toss. The umpires are set to have another inspection at 12:30 PM IST.

Some Sri Lanka U19 players are having a football kickabout at one side of the ground.

If the match between India and Sri Lanka has to be abandoned, then it will be India who go through to the final by virtue of a higher position in their respective group. India topped Group A, while Sri Lanka finished second in Group B.

Similarly, if the second semi between Pakistan and Bangladesh is also abandoned, it will be Bangladesh who qualify for the final as they topped Group B, while Pakistan came second in Group A.

India are yet to lose a single game in the U19 Asia Cup. A number of batters have stepped up to the fore, and made great contributions. Be it Vaibhav Suryavanshi against UAE, Aaron George against Pakistan or Abhigyan Kundu against Malaysia, contributions have come from several stars.

The toss is delayed due to wet outfield. We do not yet have any official time as to when the toss may be hold. The weather does not appear to be too positive at the moment.

It's still raining in Dubai and there's confirmation regarding toss. The ground in under the covers and the players are in the dressing room. Let's hope for the resumption soon. 

According to Accuweather, the day will get better with every passing hour. There's no rain in the afternoon and the match is expected to take place without any hiccups after the initial delay. 

Ohhh!!! Bad news coming in from Dubai that the toss the first semi-final match between India and Sri Lanka has been delayed due to rain in Dubai. 

The winner of the first semi-final match between India and Sri Lanka will either face Bangladesh or Pakistan in the final of ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup on Sunday. 

Abhigyan Kundu broke South Africa's Jorich van Schalkwyk's record (145 balls) by scoring the fastest double ton in U-19 ODIs. Kundu's 209 is the second-highest individual score in the history of U-19 ODIs, after van Schalkwyk's 215 against Zimbabwe. However, all his records wont be counted as he achieved the feat against an associate nation. 

14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi is proving his mettle everyday. Starting the U19 Asia Cup campaign with a fiery 171-run knock against UAE, Suryavanshi had a rough day against arch-rivals Pakistan. However, he scored a quick half-century against Malaysia in the last match. He will now aim for another strong knock against Sri Lanka. 

India star Abhigyan Kundu made history on Tuesday as he slammed 209 off 125 balls against Malaysia in a U-19 Asia Cup match in Dubai. Kundu brought up his double century in 121 balls. En route to his double ton, Kundu surpassed Ambati Rayudu (177) to register the highest score by an Indian in U-19 ODI cricket. He also beat Vaibhav Suryavanshi to record the highest individual score of this tournament. Ultimately, Kundu finished on 209 off 125 balls, hitting nine sixes and 17 fours.

A five-wicket haul from Deepesh Devendran and a record-breaking double century from wicketkeeper-batter Abhigyan Kundu helped India secure a massive 315-run win over Malaysia in the ACC Men's Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai on Tuesday.
