b Mohammad Shami
0.5 OUT! BOWLED! What a nut from Shami! Absolutely wonderful! Shami mixes his line and gets the wicket. What a start for India! A seam-up delivery, full and on middle. Allen stays back to heave but completely misses and gets hit on the inside half of the pads. It ricochets off the pads and hits the off stump. Allen had no clue whatsoever there. 0/1

Devon Conway | 7 | 16 | 1 | 0 | 43.75 |
c & b Hardik Pandya
9.4 OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Well, no one saw this coming. Conway is stunned! What a catch by Pandya! He shows his reflexes now. India all over New Zealand. Devon Conway soaked all the pressure but in the end has to go now. WOW! On a length and on middle. Conway pushes on the up and towards mid on but Hardik Pandya gets low and drills his left hand out. The ball was dying but Pandya reacted quickly to take the catch. Brilliant. 15/4

Henry Nicholls | 2 | 20 | 0 | 0 | 10 |
c Shubman Gill b Mohammed Siraj
5.3 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Another day another wicket for Siraj. A slight adjustment and Siraj gets the reward. He was bowling on the pads but this time targets the off stump. Nicholls looks to defend but gets a thick outside edge to first slip where Shubman Gill holds onto it. 8/2

Daryl Mitchell | 1 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 33.33 |
c & b Mohammad Shami
6.1 OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! A blinder of a catch from Shami! He holds this time! We remember he had a chance in the first ODI which he failed to hold on but not this time. Fantastic reflex. New Zealand in all sorts of trouble. On a length and on middle. Mitchell prods and is touch early as he tries to flick. He closes the face of the bat too early and it goes back to Shami who stretches his left-hand out and takes it. Dream start for India. Actually, he took from both his hands together. 9/3

Tom Latham C Wk | 1 | 17 | 0 | 0 | 5.88 |
c Shubman Gill b Shardul Thakur
10.3 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! New Zealand what are you doing? This is horrendous! Latham showed composure but is teased by an away angling delivery. Latham pokes and Shubman Gill takes his second catch at first slip. This is not looking good. 15/5

|||||
Glenn Phillips | 36 | 52 | 5 | 0 | 69.23 |
c Suryakumar Yadav b Washington Sundar
31.1 OUT! TAKEN! The last known batter goes and even 150 looks impossible from here on! Sundar drops it short and outside off. Phillips rocks on the back foot to pull but fails to get enough power on it. And even the boundaries are very big here. It goes to deep mid-wicket where Suryakumar Yadav takes the catch. 103/8

|||||
Michael Bracewell | 22 | 30 | 4 | 0 | 73.33 |
c Ishan Kishan b Mohammad Shami
18.3 OUT! GONE! This is what world class bowlers do! Comes back with a bang! The stand which was looking promising is broken! The man in form goes! A bouncer from Shami as he comes back over the wicket. Bracewell looks to pull but manages the faintest of edges to the keeper who pouches it. 56/6

|||||
Mitchell Santner | 27 | 39 | 3 | 0 | 69.23 |
b Hardik Pandya
30.1 OUT! CHOPPED ON! The 47-run stand is broken! Santner is a bit unlucky here but the day belongs to the seamers. On a length and outside off, hard length but Hardik Pandya rolls his finger over it. Santner stays back to punch but gets an inside edge onto the back pad and it goes onto deflect onto the stumps. 103/7

Blair Tickner | 2 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 28.57 |
lbw b Kuldeep Yadav
34.3 OUT! LBW! THREE REDS! Kuldeep Yadav will end with a wicket as well! A flighted, full ball on middle and spins more in. Blair Tickner goes back to defend but misses and gets hit on the pads. That was clear as daylight but Blair Tickner just to try his luck takes it upstairs but it doesn't help. Three reds it shows on the Ball Tracking. New Zealand bowled out for 108. 108/10
