A dazzling unbeaten half century by DR Martyn (67) and L Vincent's 43 helped ICL World XI beat ICL India XI by eight wickets.

A dazzling unbeaten half century by DR Martyn (67) and L Vincent's 43 helped ICL World XI beat ICL India XI by eight wickets in the ICL 20s World Series played at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
ICL World XI made 145 runs for the loss of two wickets in 18.3 overs with the help of Martyn, who was unbeaten on 67 from 53 deliveries. His innings included 10 hits to the fence.
Vincent also made a valuable contribution of 43 runs from 32 balls, with the help of six fours and one six.
World XI lost their first wicket for seven runs, while the second fell at 79 runs when Vincent was out. G Vignesh and STR Binny took one wicket each by conceding 28 and 32 runs respectively.
Earlier, opting to bat, ICL India XI made 141 runs for five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. T P Singh, who guided the team, was unbeaten on 63 from 49 deliveries. His inning included eight fours and one six.
S T R Binny who was unbeaten on 37, conceded the runs in 27 balls, playing a good innings with the help of two fours and one six.
R S Gavsakar made a valuable contribution of 30 off 27 balls, including two hits to fence and one six.
Former Ranji Player A T Rayudu, who played good innings in earlier matches, was unexpectedly run out for one run, disappointing the cricket lovers.
Captain R Sathish returned to pavilion without scoring any run. He was caught by Chris Cairns.
