Dubai:
The ICC's chief executive committee on Tuesday "agreed to afford members the opportunity to use the system in bilateral, One-Day Internationals" prior to the World Cup to "provide further opportunities for players, match officials and the technology suppliers to experience the use of the system."
The ICC did not say when the system would first be used at an ODI.
The system allows teams a set number of challenges which are referred to a third umpire to review.
