Gujarat Giants vs Delhi Capitals WPL 2026 Live Score Updates: Delhi Capitals take on Gujarat Giants in a crucial WPL 2026 encounter in Vadodara. The match is extremely important for both sides as a win can be a major boost to their dreams of reaching the knockout stage. Both Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Giants have 6 points from 6 matches in the competition but DC are ahead due to a superior Net Run Rate (NRR). During their last encounter, Gujarat Giants clinched a narrow win in a high-scoring clash where Sophie Devine produce a brilliant all-round performance. However, the likes of Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma will be looking to bounce back on Tuesday. (Live Scorecard)

Gujarat Giants vs Delhi Capitals Live
Delhi Capitals have never successfully chased a total of 170 or more, with their highest successful chase being 167 against UP Warriorz in 2025. The Gujarat Giants defended 153 in their last game, and that will give them plenty of confidence. On a surface that has offered just enough assistance for spin, and with Delhi's batting line-up largely right-handed, Gujarat have as many as three spin options who can turn the ball away from the right-handers. That sets up for an intriguing chase. Stick around!
A quick word from Beth Mooney. She says that she was hitting the ball well, but it was not quite coming off for her so far. She notes that many of the other girls have been doing the heavy lifting and hopes they can cross the line. Opines that the pitch has low bounce, with the ball sliding onto the bat, while there is some assistance for the spinners if they bowl slowly. She describes it as a decent wicket and hopes the bowlers will perform well. Adds that teams batting first have won more often than not in Vadodara and hopes that trend continues.
Anushka was the aggressor in that partnership, dealing in boundaries with proper cricketing strokes, while Mooney played second fiddle and looked to hold the innings together. Once that stand was broken, DC found their way back into the contest by striking at regular intervals. Mooney was not at her fluent best on the night, and with wickets continuing to fall at the other end, it did not help her cause one bit. Tanuja Kanwer came through with a handy cameo to help GG end up with 174, with 35 runs coming off the last 3 overs.
After DC elected to bowl first, as you would expect from her, Marizanne Kapp nagged away on a good length in the Powerplay and was rewarded with the wicket of Sophie Devine, who looked good during her brief stay. The Giants were able to overcome that early setback, thanks to a 54-run stand between Anushka Sharma and Beth Mooney.
End of a see-saw battle! Gujarat had the platform early on, then Delhi fought their way back with wickets at regular intervals, before the Giants rallied to finish strongly, with the slow over-rate penalty proving costly for the Capitals. A hugely entertaining first innings, where the momentum swung back and forth, and GG will take the momentum into the break.
OUT! CAUGHT! A wicket on the final ball, but Kanwer has already done her job - 21 off 11 balls. There is width outside off, Tanuja throws her hands at it and gets a thick edge to short third. Charani stays calm and takes the catch. Gujarat Giants finish on 174 for 9.
Stumping appeal! Short and outside off, with the pace taken off. Kanwer reaches out to cut but cannot connect. Lee is sharp behind the stumps, whips off the bails and goes up in appeal, and it is off to the third umpire. UltraEdge shows no bat involved, and the side-on angle then confirms Kanwer has dragged her back leg inside the crease in time. Safe.
SIX! Kanwer is finishing things off in style. Full and angling in from round the wicket, around off, she stays back and muscles it straight down the ground. It sails wide of Shafali, running across from long on and lands flush on the rope. The third umpire checks it and confirms the maximum, signalled as a big one.
FOUR! Shot. Vital runs. Short around off, Kanwer creates room by shuffling back and crunches it over the covers for a boundary.
FOUR! Well struck. Back of a length around middle and leg, Kanwer makes a bit of room and hammers it straight back down the ground for a boundary.
Shortish and on middle, dragged to mid-wicket for one.
Time for the final over. Chinelle Henry to close out the innings.
Yorker again, on middle, Thakur digs it out to the leg side and takes a single.
FOUR BYES! A terrific yorker from Sharma, tailing down the leg side. Thakur cannot get her bat down in time and it sneaks past the keeper as well. It runs away to fine leg for a boundary, four byes added.
Again the length is full and around off, Kanwer tries to play the reverse sweep but it takes the toe end of her bat and rolls to covers. They get a run.
Play and a miss. Slower one, down the leg side, Kanwer steps back to hoick it over the leg side but misses.
Fuller and on off, bunted down to long on for a run.
Short and on middle, pulled to deep square leg for a run.
Renuka Singh Thakur is in next. Delhi Capitals are behind on the over rate. They have been penalized, can only have 3 fielders outside the inner circle for the remaining 2 overs.
OUT! LBW! Charani gets her reward. She bowls it around off and extracts just enough turn back into the batter. Kanika Ahuja steps forward to flick but plays down the wrong line and is struck on the back pad. The on-field call stays not out, so they go upstairs. DRS time. No bat involved, and Ball Tracking shows it crashing into the leg stump. A 4-fer for Charani, her best spell in the WPL.
