The Trinbago Knight Riders put in an amazing display as they won the first semi-final of the Caribbean Premier League 2020 (CPL 2020) with ease against Jamaica Tallawahs. Kieron Pollard's side were clinical right from the start. After winning the toss, the Knight Riders elected to bowl first and began with a wicket. Akeal Hosein picked three wickets in a talismanic bowling performance. Tallawahs set a 108-run target for their opponents, who reached it with ease; courtesy of a half-century by Lendl Simmons. A good end to a rather poor display by Jamaica Tallawahs. Ali Khan doesn't send a full delivery. Brathwaite takes a step deep in his crease, gets under it and hits it flat beyond the long-off rope for a six. Jamaica Tallawahs end at 107/7, setting a 108-run target for Trinbago Knight Riders.

It was a slow delivery by DJ Bravo which landed full no sixth stump. Powell went to sweep it, and it went to midwicket. Seifert charged from behind the stumps to collect it, but the throw to Bravo at striker's end is wide. Brathwaite gets saved by a whisker.

Disappointment for Andre Russell! Bravo sent a good delivery. Russell went forward to defend it. It deflects to slip and he is unsure if he even hit it, but the umpire has made his decision. In comes, Carlos Brathwaite.
Again another googly by Fawad, and it does the job for him. Bonner was looking good, but Fawad's wizardry did the trick for Trinbago. In comes, Andre Russell for Jamaica Tallawahs.

It was a full delivery on middle by Pierre. Bonner hits it with the full face of his bat, and sends it to the boundary. A good end to this over by Jamaica, as they rack up 11 runs in the last six balls.
Another wicket for Hosein, as he sends Mujeeb ur Rahman back to the dressing room. It was a length delivery on off. Rahman tried to reverse sweep it, but it tickled past his bat, bounced off his pad and went for the first slip, who took a diving catch.
Classy shot by Bonner. Hosein tossed it up, full and wide. Bonner drives it through cover. Tallawahs need to rebuild after losing crucial early wickets. Can Bonner be his side's talisman?
