Bangalore to host fourth India-Eng ODI

The BCCI has shifted the venue of the fourth ODI between India and England on November 23 from the original Jamshedpur to Bangalore.

Mumbai:

The Indian Cricket Board has shifted the venue of the fourth ODI between India and England on November 23 from the original Jamshedpur to Bangalore.

"The reason is Tatas have said the stadium in Jamshedpur (Keenan Stadium owned by Tatas) is unsafe," BCCI sources said.

The Bangalore tie would be a day/night contest, they added. The revised itinerary of England's tour is:

Nov 6: England team arrives

Nov 9: Warm-up tie at CCI, Mumbai

Nov 11: Warm-up tie at CCI, Mumbai

Nov 14: 1st ODI at Rajkot

Nov 17: 2nd ODI at Indore

Nov 20: 3rd ODI at Kanpur

Nov 23: 4th ODI at Bangalore (D/N)

Nov 26: 5th ODI at Cuttack (D/N)

Nov 29: 6th ODI at Guwahati

Dec 2: 7th ODI at Delhi (D/N)

Dec 5-7: Three-day warm-up game in Vadodara

Dec 11-15: 1st Test at Ahmedabad

Dec 19-23: 2nd Test at CCI, Mumbai.
