Australian opener Shane Watson on Monday smashed a record 15 sixes in a one-day innings, achieving the feat against Bangladesh in the second match in Dhaka.

Australian opener Shane Watson on Monday smashed a record 15 sixes in a one-day innings, achieving the feat against Bangladesh in the second match in Dhaka.
West Indies Xavier Marshall was the previous record-holder with 12 sixes, against Canada in 2008.
Xavier Marshall's 2008 mark for most sixes fell when Watson swung his 13th over the rope, the second six in as many balls off the bowling of Abdur Razzak. Watson added two more for good measure, his innings ultimately comprising 79.74% of his team's score.
