Melbourne: Hosts Australia have won the second Test against South Africa by 184 runs in Melbourne. Chasing an improbable 366 for victory, the Proteas were bowled out for 181 in their second innings. Shaun Pollock remained unbeaten on 67. Mike Hussey was named man of the match for his knock of 122. The win gives Australia a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The third and final Test starts in Sydney from January 2.
