Alam denies accusing Akmal of match-fixing
Former coach Intikhab Alam has denied making match-fixing allegations against stumper Kamran Akmal during his deposition before a PCB inquiry committee.

Former coach Intikhab Alam has denied making match-fixing allegations against stumper Kamran Akmal during his deposition before a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) inquiry committee probing the team's disastrous tour of Australia earlier this year.
"Look at the video recording of my statement. I have never said Kamran or any player indulged in match-fixing," Intikhab said.
Akmal on Saturday threatened to sue Intikhab and former assistant coach Aaqib Javed for raising match-fixing suspicions about him and demanded an unconditional apology from both.
Intikhab said Akmal and the media had misunderstood his remarks at the hearing into the tour in which Pakistan were whitewashed in both the Test and ODI series.
"When I don't have any evidence of match-fixing why would I accuse any player?" the former Test captain said.
"I have at no stage accused him of match-fixing, it is all a misunderstanding," he said.
However in the video recordings, both Intikhab and Aaqib are heard expressing concerns and suspicions over the performance of Akmal in the Sydney Test.
They particularly expressed suspicions about the way Akmal missed a run out and dropped catches in the match and said they did hear stories about match-fixing.
Aaqib is heard in the video saying these things have been going on in Pakistan cricket for 15 to 20 years.
Akmal said on Saturday that all top keepers had their off-days when they dropped catches and missed run outs and that didn't mean they were involved in any shady business.
Aaqib was not available for his comments.
