India CWG 2026 Day 4 Live Updates: India's Rishikanta Singh Chanambam clinched silver in the men's 60 kg weightlifting event at the Commonwealth Games 2026 after producing a record-breaking display in the snatch. His performance earned India its second medal of the ongoing Games, following para powerlifter Jhandu Kumar's bronze earlier. Rishikanta finished with a combined total of 264 kg (121 kg snatch + 143 kg clean and jerk). In pool action, swimmers Srihari Nataraj, Aryan Nehra, Aneesh Gowda, and Dhakshan Shashikumar have qualified for the men's 4x200m freestyle relay final. India's Mirabai Chanu will be in action shortly in the women's 48 kg weightlifting final. She is eyeing a third consecutive gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.

In men's all-around final, Tapan Mohanty drops to the 12th position after scoring just 11.600 in horizontal bars. His overall score tally is 48.750. Scotland's Reuben Ward leads the chart with 53.200 after four rounds.

India's Tapan Mohanty has dropped back down to 11th place. Scotland's Reuben Ward continues to lead with 39.150 points, followed by Australia's Ritam Malik in second with 39.050 and Wales's Elliot Vernon in third with 38.950.

According to the official Commonwealth Games website, Mirabai Chanu will attempt 82 kg in the snatch and 105 kg in the clean and jerk, making her the favorite to win gold on paper.

Tapan Mohanty scores 12.450 on his third routine, the parallel bars, taking his overall tally to 37.150 points and moving temporarily into fifth place.

Tapan finishes his second routine on the vault. He scores 12.700 and moves up to 9th place with a total of 24.700 points. Scotland's Reuben Ward currently occupies the gold medal spot with a score of 26.900, followed by Cyprus's Marios Georgiou (25.950) and Wales's Elliot Vernon (25.850).

CWG Live 2026: Good news from swimming!

India's Srihari Nataraj, Aryan Nehra, Aneesh Gowda, and Dhakshan Shashikumar have qualified for the men's 4x200m freestyle relay final. The quartet finished third in Heat 2 with a time of 7:39.48.
