Indian shuttlers Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponappa lost their women's doubles final to Vivian Kah Mun Hoo and Khe Wei Woon of Malaysia to settle for silver at the Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow.

Shuttlers Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa of India lost 21-17, 23-21 to Vivian Kah Mun Hoo and Khe Wei Woon of Malaysia to settle for silver in the women's doubles event at the Commonwealth Games 2014.
The Indian pair lost the first game 17-21, before going down in a well-fought second game. Jwala and Ponappa had taken the lead and looked good to take the match into the deciding third game, but the Malaysians came back strongly to first draw level and win in the tie breaker.
