The new Under 12 world chess champion says he is keen to prove his mettle at the National B Championship in Delhi.

The new Under 12 world chess champion says he is keen to prove his mettle at the National B Championship in Delhi. N Srinath of Chennai recently won the world title in Belford, France. But the 12-year old player does not appear to be carried away by his success. In comments at Chennai airport, Srinath was clear about his immediate agenda, "Right now my goal is to increase my points and grow as a player". The National B Championship in Delhi gets underway on Wednesday and that's where the Chennai lad hopes to build on his success.
