Saina Nehwal Congratulated by Sonia Gandhi on Becoming World No. 1

Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Sunday hailed Saina Nehwal over becoming the world's top seeded women badminton player, saying she has shown that Indians are second to none.
In a letter to Nehwal, Gandhi shared the pride and delight of countrymen over her tremendous achievement.(Saina Nehwal Becomes World No. 1)
Sending her heartfelt felicitations, Gandhi told Saina that "this is a tribute to your talent and ability, your perseverance and training and above all your grit and determination".
"You have shown that Indians are second to none if we put our minds to it. You are an example to millions of our young girls and boys who dream of excellence and success," she said.
