Pawar wins Portuguese badminton title
India's Anand Pawar has won the title of Men Singles in Portguese International 2008 by defeating England's Carl Baxter by 21-15, 21-3.

Pawar, who won the Austrian Open last month, secured a 21-15 21-3 win to secure the title.
The 21-year-old is a trainee at Prakash Padukone's badminton academy in Bangalore. He is presently ranked 101st in the world and has a good chance to break into the top-100 after this victory.
Meanwhile, in Men Doubles Final match Rupesh Kumar/Sanave Thomas has lost the match against Ruud Bosc/Koen Rider (NED) by 19-21, 20-22.
