Bangalore hosts first midnight marathon
Who said Bangalore does not have a night life? In fact, it's a lot more active than you would imagine.

Who said Bangalore does not have a night life?
In fact, it's a lot more active than you would imagine. The city held the first midnight marathon on Saturday.
Ram Singh Papiya from Varanasi finished the 42.195 km full marathon in a time of 2:30.28. Mathew Kongongo from Kenya was the runner up.
Rina Das was the winner in the women's category, finishing the marathon in 3 hours 32 minutes.
Almost a thousand people, inlcuding a lot of professional runners, participated in the full marathon as well as the 21.1 km half-marathon.
There was also an IT run earlier in the day, which was just 5.4 km.
