Wimbledon: Sania Mirza Battles Hard to Reach Mixed Doubles Quarters, Bopanna in Semis
Second-seeded Sania Mirza and Bruno Soares beat unseeded Croatian duo of Marin Draganjah and Ana Konjuh to reach quarters while Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea stunned Bryan brothers to confirm semis berth.

Second-seeded Sania Mirza and Bruno Soares battled hard to overcome the unseeded Croatian pair of Marin Draganjah and Ana Konjuh to make it to the mixed doubles quarters of Wimbledon 2015 on Tuesday. (It's Serena v Sharapova in Semis)
Sania and Soares won 6-3, 6-7, 6-3 and will face Austrian-Hungaria pair of Alexander Peya and Timea Babos in the quarters. (Novak Djokovic makes great escape)
In the men's doubles event, Rohan Boapanna and his Romanian partner Florin Mergea stunned top-seeded Bryan Brothers 5-7, 6-4, 7-6, 7-6 to advance to the semifinal. (Paes-Hingis in Wimbledon quarters)
In a nail-biting four-setter that saw two tie-breakers, the seventh-seeded Bopanna and Mergea prevailed over the three-time Wimbledon doubles title winners Bob and Mike Bryan.
After going down in the first set 5-7, Bopanna and Mergea staged a sensational comeback to take the second set 6-4. The next two sets were closely-contested but the Indo-Romanian pair triumphed 7-6, 7-6 on both ocassions.
Bopanna and Mergea next face Dutch-Romanian duo of Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau.
