Kohli is the co-owner of IPTL team UAE Royals. But on Thursday, his team lost to Japan Warriors, for whom Indian ace Leander Paes played a decisive role. India's Test captain grabbed a lot of spotlight as he met Sania on the sidelines of the popular tennis tournament in its second year. Delhi has turned into a who's who of international tennis. Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are here together for the first time in India, thanks to the IPTL. While Nadal is Sania's team-mate in Indian Aces, Federer will power Kohli's team UAE Royals.

Kohli's business interests are increasingly bringing him closer to other sports. On Thursday, he picked up stakes in a wrestling team, Bengaluru Yodhas. Kohli already co-owns a football team (FC Goa) in the Indian Super League.

The Indian Test captain's brand value is on the rise. He has won back to back Test series against Sri Lanka (away) and versus South Africa at home. India will play 12 Tests at home next year.
