Top seed Victoria Azarenka defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-1, 6-2 in the third round of the WTA/ATP Indian Wells tournament on Sunday.
World number one Azarenka advanced to the fourth round where she will face 14th seeded Julia Goerges who beat Anabel Medina Garrigues of Spain 6-3, 6-4 on Sunday.
