Australian Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka reached the US Open fourth round by walkover on Saturday when Slovenian Blaz Kavcic withdrew from their third-round match with a right foot injury. (Also Read: Djokovic Enters Round 4)

Switzerland's Wawrinka, the third seed who broke through for his first Grand Slam title in Melbourne in January, next faces either 16th-seeded Spaniard Tommy Robredo or Australian Nick Kyrgios, who shocked Rafael Nadal in the fourth round at Wimbledon. (Read: Wimbledon Champ Kvitova Ousted)
