Washington DC:
"I love President Obama; he has such an unbelievable presence, and he seems to be so normal - and he noticed my shoes. I think that was the highlight of the whole day. I was wearing a 5 inch Fendis and he asked me if I should be wearing high heels. I thought that was kind of funny because he may have been right. Because it is a job hazard for me, but I insist on wearing them," said Serena.
Serena and her sister Venus have broken barriers for African Americans in tennis so meeting the African Americans' first family was a wonderful moment.
"I didn't know Michelle Obama had such an amazing personality. She had me cracking up and laughing. I knew she was a great person, but now I really understand how important this first family is to the United States. And the kids were just so cute and sweet, and the dog was nice," the reigning Wimbledon champion said.
After dominating women's tennis while excelling in other fields like fashion designing and modeling, it takes a lot to impress Serena Williams. Today, however, the Wimbledon champ was blown away.
