New Delhi :
The first round exit from the Pattaya Open last week severely affected Sania Mirza's singles ranking as the Indian slipped 18 positions to 77 in the latest WTA list issued on Monday.
Sania's start to the 2010 season has been far from impressive as she could not cross the first hurdle at three tournaments -- including Australian Open -- out of the four she has played so far.
Sania's doubles ranking also suffered, going down to 36, a loss of three spots.
In the ATP rankings, Somdev Devvarman (141) had his ranking unchanged in the singles chart while Leander Paes (7) and Mahesh Bhupathi (8) were also static in the doubles.
