Top-ranked Dinara Safina will meet defending champion Sara Errani in the Slovenia Open final after they dispatched first-time WTA Tour semifinalists.

Top-ranked Dinara Safina will meet defending champion Sara Errani in the Slovenia Open final after they dispatched first-time WTA Tour semifinalists on Saturday.
Safina beat Alberta Brianti of Italy 6-4, 6-3 then fifth-seeded Errani defeated Stefanie Voegele of Switzerland 6-1, 6-2.
Safina will be playing her seventh final this year, and looking for her third win.
Errani, of Italy, was into her second final in two weeks. She lost the championship match in Palermo last weekend.
Safina won their only previous meeting, at Stuttgart in April, for the loss of only one game.
