London:
The world number three didn't spend too long celebrating Sunday's victory in the main pre-Wimbledon grasscourt tournament - and kept to his teetotal habits.
The 22-year-old was busy catching up on sleep, as he struggles to get a good night's rest before a final.
"I went out for an Indian with all the guys that I work with and a little celebration -- but no alcohol for me. They had a few drinks on me, but nothing for me," the Scot said as he launched his new Fred Perry-designed outfit for Wimbledon.
"The night before a final I don't sleep particularly well but if you win the tournament you get a good night's sleep. If you don't, you tend to struggle a little bit.
"I got to bed reasonably early and was up early this morning."
Top seed Murray secured his first grass court trophy with a 7-5, 6-4 win over James Blake of the United States.
The British number one said the victory in west London gave him a big boost as he prepares his bid to become the first Briton since Perry in 1936 to win the men's singles title at Wimbledon, which starts on June 22.
"It is good for confidence any time you win a tournament. Just to win your first event on grass is nice. I'd never made the final on a grass court," he said.
"Tim Henman is great grass court player. It was probably his best surface. But there's so few grass court tournaments, he never won one.
"So it's a tough thing to do because there's only one or two tournaments that you play in a year and all of the best players normally play," he explained.
Murray is not playing at either the Eastbourne or s'Hertogenbosch grass court Wimbledon warm-up tournaments this week and has no plans to play exhibition matches either -- but will hit the go-kart track.
"I played five matches last week, that's enough," he said.
"From Tuesday I'll be out on court at Wimbledon. I've got some go-karting planned at some point. It's a late birthday present that was booked in so we're trying to get that in but apart from that I'll be spending most of my time in the gym or on the court."
Murray's victory at Queen's Club was his fourth ATP Tour title this year. He became the first Briton since Bunny Austin in 1938 to win the event.
