Bhupathi, Knowles in Wimbledon quarters
Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles survived a scare before defeating Prakash Amritraj and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi to advance to the quarter-finals.

Fourth seeded Bhupathi and Knowles took the first set, breaking their unseeded opponents twice.
Prakash and Qureshi came back strongly, breaking Knowles serve in the 12th game to make it a set-all.
The keenly fought third set went with on serve before Prakash and Qureshi had a set point in the 12th game, again in Knowles serve. This time, however, Knowles and Bhupathi wriggled out of the tight spot and then dominated the tie-break.
Bhupathi and Knowles were in full control in the fourth set and were leading 4-0 when rain stopped the play. They came back to blank Prakash and Qureshi and win the match that went almost three hours.
This is the second time Bhupathi and Knowles stopped an Indians run in men's doubles. They had earlier beaten Somdev Devvarman and South African Kevin Anerson.
