Poor luck for Arshdeep Singh as he misses his hat-trick by a narrow margin. The ball took the outside edge of Fazalhaq Farooqi's bat and ran away for a four by finding the gap between the wicketkeeper and the first slip. Mere formality remains in this game as Afghanistan are nine down.

On the fourth ball of the over, India reviewed against Najibullah Zadran after an LBW appeal. Umpire was unconvinced and rightly so as ball tracking found that it was pitched outside the leg stump. A total of 10 runs came off Hardik Pandya's second over. Afghanistan need 81 runs in 30 balls.

Only five runs came off Hardik Pandya's first over. Afghanistan are under serious pressure at the moment as the asking rate goes close to 11 for them. They need 142 runs in 78 balls. This getting tougher for them. Someone needs to fire to keep them fighting in this chase.
That is the end of powerplay. It was truly dominated by India as they claimed three wickets in it and conceded even less than 6 runs per over. Afghanistan need 147 runs in 84 balls. They have an uphill task at hand from this point.
Jasprit Bumrah strikes once again and Afghanistan are in all sorts of trouble now. They are three down in 4.1 overs in this chase of 182 runs. Hazratullah Zazai closed the face of his bat too early while trying to work it on the leg side and thus got a top edge on it. The ball flew to Ravindra Jadeja at short third.
Jasprit Bumrah struck on the second ball of his first over. He once again boasted of his experience. Bumrah saw Rahmanullah Gurbaz creating room for himself by moving on the leg side and thus bowled a slower delivery wide outside off stump. Gurbaz ended up edging the ball to wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant.
That is a terrific shot from Rahmanullah Gurbaz for a six. He danced down the track and pulled away the Arshdeep Singh delivery for a mighty six. Gurbaz took a single off the next ball to retain strike. 13 runs came off the over.
Sensational shot this is from Rahmanullah Gurbaz! He dances down the track and lofts the delivery for a four over the bowler's head. Intent is clear from the start for Afghanistan in this chase.
Afghanistan are making a brilliant comeback towards the end of the Indian innings. A slower bouncer from Fazalhaq Farooqi and Ravindra Jadeja has cut it towards the short third man, who runs to his right to take a good catch.

Naveen-ul-Haq bowled a beautiful fuller delivery to Hardik Pandya and that hit the Indian batter on the back foot. Umpire raised his finger over the LBW appeal but a review saved Hardik. On the very next ball, Hardik edged Naveen's fuller delivery to Azmatullah towards deep point.
This is a vintage Hardik Pandya! It was bowled fuller from Naveen-ul-Haq and Hardik cleared his front leg and slammed the ball away for a biggie over the cow corner. A fuller ball from Azmatullah Omarzai outside off stump and Suryakumar Yadav hits it over the bowler's head for a six. An amazing shot this is from India's number four batter. Naveen got a touch of his right hand on it and the ball hit the stumps at the non-striker's end. Suryakumar however managed to take his bat inside the crease in time.
Shivam Dube is gone! Rashid Khan is wreaking havoc. He has claimed his third wicket and India are in all sorts of trouble. It was bowled fuller from Rashid and Dube wanted to block it on the back foot. The ball hit his pad before bat could touch the ball. Umpire was unconvinced but Afghanistan decided to go upstairs and rightly so.
Suryakumar Yadav is playing brilliantly. He is using slow sweeps and sweeps with perfection to counter the Afghanistan spin wizard Rashid Khan. SKY started the over with a four towards backward square leg before slamming a six through the same region on the third ball of the over.
