FIA Formula E, already into the third season, is considering adding India to its annual calendar with talks in full swing.
According to sources, dialogue has already been initiated with the government and local bodies on feasibility of holding a street race in India.
Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai are being explored as the possible venues for hosting the race.
If the race does get a green signal, we could well see the likes of Bruno Senna, Jacques Villeneuve, Nelson Piquet Jr. lighting up the tracks with their speed machines.
The Formula E should also attract Indian fans, considering that Mahindra Racing is one of 10 teams that is part of the Grand Prix.
