Paris Paralympics 2024, Day 2 Highlights: It was a memorable day for India as the country bagged four medals. Shooters secured three medals for the nation while one was won in athletics. Avani Lekhara and Mona Agarwal secured gold and bronze, respectively, in the Women's 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 final. Avani also became the first Indian woman to win two Paralympic gold medals. After this, shooter Manish Narwal bagged a silver medal in the men's 10m air pistol (SH1) final. Meanwhile, sprinter Preethi Pal secured another medal for India, clinching bronze in Women's 100m T35 final. Preethi finished third with a timing of 14.21s. She became the first ever sprinter to win a medal for India at the Para Games. (Medal Tally)
