Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal Felicitates Satnam Singh Bhamara
Satnam Singh Bhamara on Friday created history when he became the first Indian to be selected in NBA draft. The 7 feet 2 inches tall hoopster from Barnala in Punjab was picked by Dallas Mavericks.

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Saturday felicitated Barnala lad Satnam Singh Bhamara for making the state proud by becoming the first Indian basketball player to be drafted into the NBA League.
In a congratulatory message, the Chief Minister said that it was a matter of great honour for all Punjabis that Bhamara, who hails from Ballo Ke village in Barnala district, had made niche in USA's prestigious NBA league with his sheer hard work and dedication.
