The IPL 2026 mock auction has come to an end. A number of big money buys, and a fair few surprises too! Cameron Green fetches the biggest amount, going to KKR as predicted by many. Liam Livingstone the second-highest pick, going to LSG!

Second buy for RCB! Anil Kumble, representing the IPL 2025 winners in the mock auction, picks Indian pacer Chetan Sakariya for a pretty hefty fee of Rs 6.5 crore. This actually becomes Kumble's biggest pick of the mock auction, ahead of Venkatesh Iyer.

Navdeep Saini is the final player to go under the hammer, and is SOLD to RR for Rs 1.75 crore.

Lungi Ngidi SOLD to Delhi Capitals for Rs 6.5 crore. After a long time, Mohammad Kaif wins a bid, representing DC. The South African pacer, who has been in decent form off late, goes to DC in the mock auction.

Rahul Tripathi has been SOLD for Rs 75 lakh to his former franchise KKR, represented in the mock auction by Robin Uthappa. Vijay Shankar is SOLD back to his former franchise GT, represented by Pujara, for Rs 2 crore.

Leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi is SOLD to RR for Rs 11.50 crore! A player who hails from Rajasthan, will now be turning out for the franchise from the region. Aakash Chopra, representing RR, makes the big buy after missing out on Chahar earlier on.

Chennai Super Kings, represented by Suresh Raina splurge big bucks! Spinner Rahul Chahar SOLD to CSK for Rs 10 crore! This would be a big talking point if this comes true in the main IPL 2026 auction tomorrow.

Chahar has played 1 ODI and 6 T20Is for India, but his last international appearance came way back in 2021.

Rs 8 crore for Gerald Coetzee, SOLD! Sunrisers Hyderabad, represented by S Badrinath, make their second purchase of the IPL 2026 mock auction. Two pacers bought by SRH today, in the form of Akash Deep and Coetzee.

Matheesha Pathirana SOLD to KKR! Robin Uthappa, representing the three-time champions, goes all in for the Sri Lankan pacer and shells out Rs 13 crore for him in the mock auction. Second-highest buy for KKR, after they spent Rs 30.50 crore for Cameron Green.

Back-to-back buys by Suresh Raina again, representing Chennai Super Kings. This time, he splashes Rs 2.50 crore for Indian pacer Shivam Mavi. Second pacer bought by CSK in the mock auction, after Nortje.

Another big money purchase by Suresh Raina, representing Chennai Super Kings! South African pacer Anrich Nortje is SOLD to CSK for Rs 7.5 crore! Second buy in excess of Rs 7 crore by Raina, after Sarfaraz Khan.

First buy for Sunrisers Hyderabad! S Badrinath, representing the Orange Army, buys the India pacer for Rs 5 crore. Robin Uthappa, representing KKR, joined the bidding war, but pulled out eventually.

England wicket-keeper batters sold without much of a bidding war! Jonny Bairstow is SOLD to KKR, represented by Robin Uthappa for Rs 2.5 crore. Jamie Smith is SOLD to GT, represented by Pujara, at his base price of Rs 2 crore.

Liam Livingstone SOLD to Lucknow Super Giants! Irfan Pathan, representing Lucknow Super Giants in the mock auction, purchases the hard-hitting England all-rounder for a whopping Rs 19 crore! That is the second highest purchase of the mock auction.

Suresh Raina, representing CSK, pulled out of the bidding at Rs 18.50 crore.

England all-rounder Liam Livingstone is up for bidding now. Another player who is expected to fetch big money in the main IPL 2026 auction on Tuesday. For now, it is CSK and GT in a bidding war for Livingstone in the mock auction!

And the bidding has gone above Rs 10 crore!

RCB get Venkatesh Iyer! Rs 6 crore! A late bid from the reigning champions, who are being represented by Anil Kumble in the mock auction. A massive Rs 17.75 crore fall in salary for the left-handed batting all-rounder.

Meanwhile, New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra goes UNSOLD.

Venkatesh Iyer, who was released by KKR after being bought for Rs 23.75 crore in the IPL 2025 auction, is up for bidding now. KKR, represented by Robin Uthappa, are going back for him again! Cheteshwar Pujara, representing GT, is in the bidding war!

Right after the big purchase of Sarfaraz Khan, Suresh Raina, representing CSK, spends Rs 2 crore to pick up Sri Lankan spin-bowling all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga at base price! Back-to-back mock auction buys for the five-time champs!

Sarfaraz Khan is SOLD to CSK for Rs 7 crore! That came out of nowhere. Big interest from Suresh Raina, representing Chennai Super Kings, to buy the domestic cricket run machine. First buy in the mock auction for CSK.

Delhi Capitals splash big! David Miller SOLD to DC for Rs 9.5 crore! The experienced South African batter, who played for LSG last season, is picked up by DC for their second buy of the mock auction. 

Australian batter Jake Fraser-McGurk is SOLD at base price to Punjab Kings! Sanjay Bangar, representing IPL 2025 runners-up PBKS, picks up the hard-hitting opener at his base price of Rs 2 crore.

DONE! Cameron Green is SOLD to KKR! A fee of Rs 30.50 crore for the Australian all-rounder. This would be a record sale price in IPL history, if it happens tomorrow. Robin Uthappa, representing KKR, went all in for Green!

The bidding for Cameron Green has crossed Rs 27 crore, which was the record amount that Rishabh Pant was sold for in the IPL 2025 auction. CSK and KKR in a big bidding war!

Australian all-rounder Cameron Green - expected by many to be the highest-bid player of the IPL 2026 auction - is now up in the mock auction. CSK and KKR, the two teams with the highest purses, should be going hard for him.

Delhi Capitals, represented by Mohammad Kaif, and Kolkata Knight Riders, represented by Robin Uthappa, are in a bidding war for Indian opener Prithvi Shaw, who has been in good form off late. 

The bidding has gone up to Rs 2.75 crore! And Shaw is SOLD to DC for Rs 2.75 crore!

New Zealand batter Devon Conway is the first name up. He goes UNSOLD. No bid at a base price of Rs 2 crore from any of the participants in the mock auction. Next up: Prithvi Shaw!

The IPL 2026 mock auction is underway! 30 people will go under the hammer in this mock auction. Here are the people representing each team:

A number of players from England are set to be in high demand in the IPL 2026 auction, and it should be no different in the mock auction. All-rounder Liam Livingstone and wicket-keeper batters Jamie Smith and Jonny Bairstow are expected to go for big bucks.

A total of 246 Indians and 113 overseas players. Of the 359, 114 are capped players. The pool comprises 230 uncapped Indian players and 15 uncapped overseas players. A total of 1390 players had registered for the player auction.

The likes of Aakash Chopra, Sanjay Bangar, Irfan Pathan are set to feature in the mock auction of IPL 2026. They will be representing the franchises and bringing out a visual treat for all the fans, ho desperately waiting to see their star players going under the hammer.
