Kolkata Test, Day 1: Sachin Tendulkar's return to form but England on top

Despite an uncharacteristic fifty by Sachin Tendulkar, England stamped their authority over the third Test match on Day 1 in Kolkata. India won the toss and chose to bat but were disappointing to say the least as visitors continued their rich vein of dominance since the Ahmedabad loss.
