Valiant India lost to Great Britain 2-3 despite second half goals from Raghunath and Sunil Sowmarpet.

Glenn Kirkham scored twice in the first half for Great Britain through penalty corners.

India fought back brilliantly in the second half and gave the British some jitters. Great Britain had conceded 2 late goals in a draw against Malaysia on Friday.

Here though, Britain scored a late winner as Nick Catlin produced a brilliant display to hand them the victory.

India pressured with late penalty corners but could not convert to the dismay of coach Michael Nobbs.
