Asiad hockey: India salvage pride

The Indian men's hockey team beat Chinese Taipei 12-1 in their 5th-8th place classification match at the Doha Asian Games on Tuesday.

The Indian men's hockey team salvaged some pride as they comprehensively beat Chinese Taipei 12-1 in their 5th-8th place classification match at the Doha Asian Games on Tuesday. The Men in Blue led 3-1 at half time. Drag-flicker V R Raghunath was the star of the show for the Indians, converting an astonishing five penalty-corners. India now take on Malaysia in the 5th-6th place playoff game on Thursday.
