Hilversum:
Seven years after his first victory, Richard Green is on course for his second win on the European Tour.
The Australian shot a seven-under-par 63 at the KLM Open at Hilversum on Friday.
At the halfway-stage, that left him three-shots ahead of second-placed Andrew Raitt.
More great weather on Friday's day two of the KLM Open - and more low scoring - though sadly, not from defending champion Maarten Lafeber.
The cut was to fall at two-over par - the Dutchman missed it by a stroke after carding a 73 on Friday.
It's been a long time since Miguel Angel Martin has experienced that winning feeling - 1999 was the year.
But the Spaniard is definitely a contender to add to his three European Tour victories after hitting a four-under-par 66.
There alongside Martin on 134 at the halfway stage - England's Ian Poulter.
A pair of 67's his return so far.
Three men are positioned one stroke better off.
The British pair of Miles Tunnicliff and David Lynn - the latter having to be content with a 70 after his first round heroics and that 63.
Alongside them - Per Nyman - the Swede carding 70 on Friday.
Ahead of that trio - the unheralded and son to be parted Andrew Raitt.
Raitt maintains he will still quit the European Tour at the end of the season - and it could be on a real high.
64 followed by a 67 his scores so far - his aggregate a nine-under-par 131 - three in arrears of Richard Green.
After opening with a 65, the Australian moved a step closer to his second European Tour title with a 63.
Lying 16th in the Volvo Order of Merit, Lynn is enjoying his best season on the circuit.
Victory here in Hilversum would propel him a long way towards a top 15 placing - and an automatic placing in next year's Majors. (AP)
