Ohio: After a shaky start, Carl Pettersson has won the Memorial Tournament by holding on to a lead of two strokes. "I hit a few loose ones on the back nine. Every time I hit it bad, I followed up with a good one," said Pettersson. At the par-5 11th, he hit his third shot into the deep rough behind the green. A bogey seemed imminent. But, he chopped out with the ball landing softly and rolling until it curled into the cup. "It broke in there perfect. It was just one of those shots where you see the shot and it came out exactly like I envisioned it. I played fantastic, but you also have to have luck on your side," he added. Although the Swede did not have the best of starts in the final round at Muirfield Village, he managed to pull off some rather impressive shots on his way to victory. (AP)
