US Open: Plane Carrying 'Cheater' Banner Flies Over Tiger Woods

Woods endured the worst US Open round of his career on Thursday with a shocking 10-over 80 at Chambers Bay.

While Woods notched four bogeys in his first seven holes during the first day of play, a plane flew overhead with a banner that read 'cheater.'

Woods' Troubled Past

The three-time US Open champion recently broke up with girlfriend Lindsey Vonn. Back in 2009, Woods' marriage with Elin Nordegren crumbled when it was revealed that he was a serial adulterer.

"Not very happy, that's for sure. It was a tough day," said Woods, who will turn 40 in December. "I couldn't quite get it turned around today."
