Turnberry, Scotland:

Country's top golfer Jeev Milkha Singh was paired on Monday with multiple PGA tour winner Rory Sabbatini of South Africa and Englishman Anthony Wall for the first two rounds of the British Open golf tournament starting here on Thursday.

Jeev has not been in the best form since returning from a rib injury and missed the cut at the Scottish Open last week.

Gaganjeet Bhullar is the only other Indian in the fray, having qualified by virtue of his triumph in the Asian leg of the International Qualifying in Sentosa in April.

The Kapurthala pro will have Walesman Rhys Davies and American Driscoll for company.

World number on Tiger Woods has been paired with Englishman Lee Westwood and Ryo Ishikawa of Japan.
