Manchester:
Edwin van der Sar is confident his first game of the season will be Manchester United's next match against Bolton after finally recovering from two broken fingers.
The 39-year-old Netherlands goalkeeper injured his hand in a preseason friendly with Bayern Munich and, because of Ben Foster's shaky form, United needs its best 'keeper back as soon as possible.
United lost the Premier League lead to Chelsea after a 2-2 draw with Sunderland on Saturday and next hosts Bolton on Oct. 17.
Van der Sar played the entire 90 minutes in a reserve game Tuesday and did not concede a goal in United's 1-0 victory over Everton.
