Subhash Bhowmick Removed as Mohun Bagan Technical Director
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) I-League committee meeting November 24 passed a resolution that from the ensuing season, the technical director should have an AFC 'A' licence, otherwise he would not be allowed to sit in the reserve bench or conduct training of the team.

City soccer giants Mohun Bagan Thursday relieved their team technical director Subhash Bhowmick of his duties, citing the AIFF's recent decision that an AFC 'A' coaching licence was mandatory for someone to occupy such a position.
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) I-League committee meeting November 24 passed a resolution that from the ensuing season, the technical director should have an AFC 'A' licence, otherwise he would not be allowed to sit in the reserve bench or conduct training of the team.
"He has not been sacked, but yes, he cannot continue as the technical director as he does not have the AFC 'A' licence," Mohun Bagan general secretary Anjan Mitra told IANS.
