Moscow:
Russia's football federation has imposed a six-game ban on Guus Hiddink for shoving a referee during his final match as coach of Anzhi Makhachkala.
The federation said on Wednesday the measure would apply to six Russian league games if Hiddink takes up another coaching job.
Hiddink, who had signed a one-year contract extension in June, resigned unexpectedly on Monday following a 2-1 loss to Dinamo Moscow. Hiddink was quoted by the R-Sport news agency as saying his shove of a referee in that game was not a factor in his resignation.
