Real Madrid take on Schalke on Sunday in Gelsenkirchen in their final friendly before they kick off their La Liga season on August 22 at Espanyol.

Yan Diomande spent one season in the German top flight with Leipzig following a switch from Spanish side Leganes in 2025.
