Germany central defender Mats Hummels has extended his contract with Bundesliga champion Borussia Dortmund to 2017.

Germany central defender Mats Hummels has extended his contract with Bundesliga champion Borussia Dortmund to 2017.
Hummels has helped Dortmund win the last two league titles and the club also captured the German Cup last season.
The defender arrived in Dortmund in 2008 from Bayern Munich, where he had played for the reserve side.
