Marco Verratti Extends Paris Saint-Germain Deal
Marco Verratti, 23, has signed a contract extension tying him to Paris Saint-Germain until 2020.

Italian midfielder Marco Verratti on Monday extended his Paris Saint-Germain contract, dealing a blow to Europe's top clubs who had been linked to a move. (Blanc Extends Paris Saint-Germain Contract Until 2018)
The 23-year-old Italian international has signed an extension tying him to the French club until 2020. Verratti, a key player in PSG's French and European title charge this season, had previously been linked to moves to Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. "I am very happy to extend my Paris Saint-Germain contract again," said Verratti, who joined the club in 2012.
"I thank the club for all the trust it has shown in me all these years.
"I am going to continue giving everything, with my teammates, to bring joy to our supporters and to make our team the best in Europe."
PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi hailed Verratti as "one of the biggest talents in Europe" as he praised the Italian's latest decision to extend with the club and his influence on the side.
"I am very proud and I want to particularly express to the player the attachment we have for him. Marco is one of the idols of the Parc des Princes."
