Lyon fought back from 2-1 down to beat St. Etienne 3-2 in the French Ligue-1 on Sunday.

Lyon fought back from 2-1 down to beat St. Etienne 3-2 in the French Ligue-1 on Sunday. Juninho Pernambucano's first half free kick was cancelled out as second half goals from Herita Ilunga and Pascal Feindouno put the home side ahead. Reigning champions Lyon pulled level as Juninho converted from the penalty spot in the 88th minute though and Sydney Govou grabbed the winning goal in injury-time. Lyon secured all three points with the 3-2 win and moved up into second place in the Ligue-1 standings. (AP)
