Indian official appointed match commissioner for AFC CL final
Former FIFA badge holder Gautam Kar has been appointed match commissioner for the AFC Champions League final.

Former FIFA badge holder Gautam Kar has been appointed match commissioner for the AFC Champions League final.
The match will be be hosted by one of the finalists on November 5.
This is the second most significant assignment for an Indian match officials after K Shankar performed duties as an assistant referee during the 2002 FIFA World Cup, which was co-hosted by South Korea and Japan.
Incidentally, Kar was the match commissioner for last edition's AFC Cup final and also the title clash of the AFC President's Cup final.
He was also the match commissioner during the recent international friendly between Argentina and Venezuela in Kolkata.
