The second half begins and this will be a big challenge for India. The hosts dominated proceedings in the first 30 minutes but Singapore found their way back in the match. The equaliser meant that they went into the half-time with more confidence and the onus is on India once again to produce a similar flair as the initial parts of this match.

Singapore have found their goal and it is 1-1. Song Ui-Young scores and this is really unfortunate for India. Singapore passed the ball brilliantly in the opposition's box and Gurpreet had no chance thanks to the brilliant finish.

Another long-range effort and this time, it was from Mahesh. He found the ball in a somewhat similar position as Chhangte but his shot went straight to the Singapore goal-keeper's gloves.

The first challenge for Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and he was ready. A solid save from the header and he followed it up with a brilliant clearance to start a counter-attack for his side. He has not faced many shots in this game but when the time came, he showed great awareness.

Chhangte found himself in a brilliant position once again but this time, the finish was just not up to the mark. He found the ball at the edge of the box but his shot sailed over the goal post. However, India still lead 1-0 in this encounter.

This was been an all-round performance from India. Apart from the offensive threats, their defence has also been quite impressive. The full backs have been playing a big role in ball progression while the centre backs have kept all dangerous crosses out of the box.

The match between Bangladesh and Hong Kong ended 1-1 and that means that the qualification race is now well and truly alive.

Lallianzuala Chhangte, you beauty! The India footballer got the ball outside the box but with no defender closing him down, he went for the spectacular. The connect was perfect and it crashed into the top corner to hand India the lead. What a strike and this was just something special.

This was been a solid start from India with the wingers providing the much needed threat for the hosts. The latest attack came from Colaco who floated in a brilliant cross into the box but before Chhetri could head it towards the goal, it was cleared.

Singapore are once again trying to exploit India's weakness against ball that drop behind the defenders. It was one such delivery that resulted in their goal in the previous encounter and today, the striker did manage to get to the end of a solid pass but it was ultimately gathered by Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.

The first half is underway and India need to find the first goal in this match. They were quite aggressive in the first half during the previous encounter and they will be looking to repeat that performance and find that important goal.

Time for the national anthems of both sides. The crowd is ready for the match and a lot will be expected from the hosts. They showed great fight against Singapore five days ago as the 10-man side drew 1-1.
