Valdes reviewed some of the moments and said he regrets his move from the Spanish club. He also spoke about his injury in the 2014 match against Spanish side Celta Vigo at the Camp Nou stadium, reports EFE.
"The day when I left Barcelona - because of the treatment I was receiving and my character - it didn't go as I would have wished. I drifted and then just left, I'm sure people expected much more from me," Valdes said on Tuesday.
The Catalan goalkeeper recounted the turning point in his career; a spectacular free-kick save in that match. He suffered a terrible leg injury while saving the free-kick, but said he was proud of the save.
"That save changed my life," the goalkeeper said.
He said he went to Augsburg for treatment, which forced him out of the spotlight and also out of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Valdes said he realised he has drifted away from Barcelona and decided to leave, a decision he now regrets.
Valdes left Barcelona for Manchester United last season but has since struggled to get playing time at the English club.
