Francesco Totti to be 40-year-old Roma skipper
Totti, a member of Italy's 2006 World Cup winning squad, has scored at least once in all of the last 20 seasons. Roma currently share the lead at the top of Serie A with three wins in three matches ahead of Sunday's derby with city rivals Lazio.

Roma captain Francesco Totti on Friday signed a new deal which will keep him at the club until he is 40.
"I thank the club for giving me the possibility of wearing the shirt that I have always loved and supported," said Totti, whose new two-year contract ties him at the Serie A side until 2016.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Totti's deal is worth around 3.2 million euros a year.
Totti, who has played at Roma all of his career, has scored 228 goals in Serie A.
Only Silvio Piola, with 274 goals, has scored more.
