Former India captain Shabbir Ali was awarded Lifetime Achievement for his contribution to Mohammedan Sporting in their Dawat-e-Iftar at the Kshudiram Anushilan Kendra here on Monday.
Chief minister Mamata Banerjee handed over a cheque for Rs one lakh to the Dronacharya awardee and Santosh Trophy winning Bengal coach.
